Law, Electronics, and Information Technology Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that govt has banned apps for protection, security, defense, sovereignty, and integrity of India. “For protection, security, defense, sovereignty & integrity of India and to offer protection to knowledge & privateness of other people of India the Government has banned 59 cell apps. Jai Hind!,” he stated in a tweet.
